is the 47th meeting of specialists from national and international universities and industrial research centers, dealing with various aspects of the electrical machines. Its aim is to exchange the experience and to present new developments in theory, construction, testing, diagnostics and applications of electrical machines.

Conference proceedings

All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the Symposium. After evaluation they will be issued in “Zeszyty Problemowe. Maszyny Elektryczne” or in Archives of Electrical Engineering. The papers (max. 6 pages) should be prepared preferably in English or Polish in accordance with the guidelines at the Symposium website: “Download” and sent to the Symposium Secretariat in *.doc and *.pdf format:

Working language

English and Polish are official languages of the Symposium and will be used for all printed materials, presentations and discussions. The papers will be presented as lectures and posters. The way of presentation is suggested by the authors; the final decision is up to the Scientific and Organizing Committee SME 2011.


The registration fee is 380 EURO per participant, including: accommodation, lunches, dinner, coffee breaks and all proceedings.

Szczecin is situated in the north-west of Poland, 140 km from Berlin, 500 km from Warsaw and 100 km from well-known seaside resorts: Świnoujście and Międzyzdroje. Szczecin is the capital of the Western Pomeranian Province – one of the most attractive tourist areas in Poland. Because of its location Szczecin is a major international transport junction. Szczecin has convenient railway and motorway (A6) connections with the Western Europe. Szczecin's transport connections are supplemented by the Goleniów airport located 40 km from the city. The airport provides regular connections with Warsaw Okęcie and London Stansted airports.
